[Lincang, Yunnan: 133 photovoltaic projects in reserve] In the promotion of style revolution efficiency revolution, the Lincang Municipal Development and Reform Commission based on the rich "scenery resources" in Lincang, focused on strengthening the resource economy, promoted the development of the photovoltaic industry at full speed with the "five plus five difficulties", and made every effort to create a "ten kilowatt level" green low-carbon clean energy new highland of "scenery water storage integration". The city realized 15 grid-connected projects of 1.318,600 million kW, and completed fixed asset investment of 8.5 billion yuan, accounting for 17.43% of the city's fixed asset investment, and the growth rate of energy fixed asset investment ranked first in the province. Comprehensively clear the list of resources that can be developed and utilized, make reasonable plans for areas suitable for construction and utilization, list project planning, prepare 133 centralized photovoltaic projects with an installed capacity of 13.88 million kilowatts, and have issued 34 construction project lists with an installed capacity of 3.68 million kilowatts. The reserve of 99 centralized photovoltaic projects with consumption and grid-connected development conditions has an installed capacity of 10.48 million kilowatts. Since the "14th Five-Year Plan", the city has included 31 centralized photovoltaic projects with an installed capacity of 3,603,700 kilowatts in the provincial construction list, and distributed photovoltaic projects with an installed capacity of 70.63 kilowatts have all started construction. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the goal of building 5 million kilowatts of new energy will be achieved. Editor/Xu Shengpeng

  • [Mauritania launched a large-scale renewable energy hydrogen storage project]
  • Denmark's GreenGo has launched the Megaton Moon project in Mauritania, a 60 GW solar-wind power facility equipped with 35 GW of green hydrogen capacity. The project developer submitted a development application to the Mauritanian Ministry of Petroleum, Energy and Mines this week. The Megaton Moon project will be built in several phases, with the initial pilot phase expected to be completed in 2028 and the final phase to be completed between 2033 and 2035. In addition, the project will generate more than 70 million tons of desalinated water per year, which will be three times the amount of water consumed by the Megaton facility to produce green hydrogen itself. GreenGo said the project will also use more than 10 TWh of surplus energy to promote the development of large-scale agricultural industries and local supply chains in the desert region. "Developing a project of this scale requires close cooperation with the supply chain and purchasers," said Anders Heine Jensen, CEO of GreenGo. "The scale of the project will attract manufacturers to produce photovoltaic panels, wind turbine blades and electrolytic components locally. We are currently negotiating a Memorandum of Agreement with the manufacturer." Editor/Xu Shengpeng
