Approved offshore wind power in Pinghai Bay, Putian, Fujian Province
With the increasing severity of global climate change and environmental issues, environmental awareness is increasing. Offshore wind power projects, as a clean energy source, are increasingly receiving attention and support from various countries. Recently, a reporter from Jiandao Network learned from the Development and Reform Commission of Fujian Province that the DE area project of Putian Pinghai Bay offshore wind farm has been approved and approved. The wind farm project unit is Strait Power Generation Co., Ltd.
The Putian Pinghaiwan Offshore Wind Farm DE Zone Project is a large-scale offshore wind power project located in the sea area outside the mouth of Pinghaiwan Bay, Xiuyu District, Putian City, Fujian Province, China. The center of the project is 16.5 kilometers away from the coastline, with a planned area of approximately 38.8 square kilometers. The construction scale of this project is 400MW, and it is planned to build a 220kV offshore booster station. The project will adopt a remote centralized monitoring scheme, and the onshore centralized control center will be located in the Fujian Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power International Industrial Park. The total investment of the project is 5.317 billion yuan.
The company is jointly invested and established by Yangtze River Three Gorges Group Fujian Energy Investment Co., Ltd. and Fujian Funeng Co., Ltd. With the continuous progress of technology and strong government support, the scale of offshore wind power projects continues to expand.
