Grid connected power generation of Dahua Duyang wind power project in Guangxi

On November 12, 2023, the first wind turbine of the Duyang Wind Farm project developed and constructed by Guangxi Guiguan Dahua Hydroelectric Power Plant was successfully connected to the grid for power generation.
Duyang Wind Farm is located in the first generation ridge area around Duyang Town, Jiangnan Township, and Yantan Reservoir Area in Dahua Yao Autonomous County. The first phase of the project has a capacity of 54000 kilowatts, installing 9 6-megawatt wind turbines with 98 meters of blades and 115 meters of tower height. It is the largest single unit wind power on the road in South China. Since the construction of the wind farm began in March 2023, members of the project department have demonstrated the determination and courage to "break through the mountains and bridge the bridge when facing water". They have worked together to accelerate the construction team and push the project progress. They have carried out a 60 day labor competition, actively communicated with the local government, overcame the difficulties and crises of access roads, cleverly resolved the thorny problem of forest cutting in the boundary, and made every effort to advance the project progress, After 8 months of hard work, we finally connected to the grid for power generation.
This project is the first wind power project to start construction during the 14th Five Year Plan period of Dahua Hydroelectric Power Plant, and it is a new journey into Datang Group's "second entrepreneurship". On June 21, 2023, the Shuangrong photovoltaic power station developed and constructed by the main plant in Guohua Town, Pingguo City was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The successful connection of the Duyang wind power project to the grid marked that the main plant became the first enterprise to achieve "complementary and integrated operation of water, wind, and light in the Guiguan power system".
