The Jintangchong Reservoir project is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Zishui main stream, and the dam site is located in Anhua County. It is a Class II large (2) water conservancy hub project that mainly focuses on flood control, combines irrigation and power generation, and takes into account comprehensive utilization of navigation, ecology, and other aspects. This project is a flood control control project for the main stream of Zishui River, as specified in the Comprehensive Plan of the Yangtze River Basin and the Comprehensive Plan of the Zishui River Basin. It has been included in the national and provincial "14th Five Year Plan" for water safety assurance and the "Hunan Province Modern Water Network Construction Plan (2021-2035)".   • Denmark's GreenGo has launched the Megaton Moon project in Mauritania, a 60 GW solar-wind power facility equipped with 35 GW of green hydrogen capacity. The project developer submitted a development application to the Mauritanian Ministry of Petroleum, Energy and Mines this week. The Megaton Moon project will be built in several phases, with the initial pilot phase expected to be completed in 2028 and the final phase to be completed between 2033 and 2035. In addition, the project will generate more than 70 million tons of desalinated water per year, which will be three times the amount of water consumed by the Megaton facility to produce green hydrogen itself.
